Mr. Polar Bear
I'm not sure why I wanted to build a polar bear. It's been in the back of my head for a while now. But today I saw someone else's creation on a Flickr stream and I thought I could make a pretty good one and here he is. I'm not sure why he has a tophat, a fishing pole or a brief case, but I think it makes him look pretty spiffy. Perhaps he's off to a fishing 'business' trip?
What do polar bears even do for work? I hear the polar economy is in a bad place right now.

Evolution of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle
I found the $13 TMNT set at Target and I couldn't resist. These guys were my favorite in the '90s and I'm pretty sure I went trick or treating as a ninja turtle for at least four Halloweens. Good times.
This diorama chronicles the evolutionary journey the speck of biomatter to its current state as a Ninja Turtle. Note the subtle changes and the leaps and bounds in evolutionary history that the Ninja Turtle has gone through. Truly beautiful stuff.
